Ghana coach Otto Addo claims his team played very well against the Central African Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Angola on Sunday afternoon.
He stated that his team wasn’t a weak side despite making seven changes to the staring XI to the team that thrashed Madagascar in Cape Coast.
According to him, the team had a lot of ball possession, and the only problem was the goal they conceded because they were not made for that.
He also added that, Ghana had so many injuries at camp with others being sick and some of them having weak legs.
“I think the team was not weak, we had a lot of ball possession, the problem was the goal we conceded because they were not made for that. We didn’t run enough behind their defence. We had injuries, others sick, some have weak legs that’s why I decided to make changes”
Ghana drew 1-1 after taking the lead against the minnows but remained top of the group with 4 points from 2 matches.
