Desmond Ofei, the head coach of Ghana’s U20 national team, the Black Satellites, expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure a victory against Gambia in their upcoming fixture at the 13th African Games.
Despite his team’s frustration in their goalless draw against Congo U-20 in their tournament opener, Ofei remains resolute in his approach for the next encounter.
Addressing the media after the match, Coach Ofei affirmed his commitment to sticking to the game plan, emphasizing the quality within the Black Satellites squad to secure goals and emerge victorious against Gambia.
“I don’t think a lot will change towards the next game. The game plan will stay the same. We have enough quality. We will get it right against Gambia. We won’t adapt to the opponent. We will play our game,” Ofei asserted.
The next game between Ghana and Gambia will be played on March 12, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
