In a pivotal encounter on the path to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Black Stars coach Chris Hughton is leaving no room for complacency.
As Ghana gears up to face the Central African Republic (CAR) in a critical qualifier set for Thursday, Hughton underscores the absolute necessity of delivering top-notch performances.
“I don’t know what to expect apart from a hard game it is always going to be a tough game,” he told Metro TV.
He went on to emphasize, “This is a big competition with some good teams and we will have to make sure we compete well enough to win the game”
Today, the Black Stars departed from Accra to Kumasi to continue their preparations for the final group game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against the Central African Republic (CAR).
A total of twenty-three players have reported to the training camp in anticipation of this crucial fixture.
