West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus is confident that the team has the potential to achieve remarkable success, given the quality within the squad.
The Ghanaian international shared his thoughts following the Hammers’ 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday at the London Stadium. Kudus, who played a crucial role in securing the draw, expressed optimism about the team’s progress and future prospects.
“We’re together as a group, and I think we’re getting there. We have a lot of quality, and I think there is a lot that we can achieve,” he told the club’s official website. “It’s about completing the puzzle together, and hopefully, we can do better again in the next game.”
Brighton took the lead early in the second half when Mats Wieffer capitalized on a defensive lapse. Pervis Estupiñán delivered a high ball into the box, which Lukasz Fabianski failed to clear effectively, allowing Wieffer to score from close range.
West Ham responded just seven minutes later. Jarrod Bowen weaved his way through Brighton’s defense and unleashed a shot that was parried by goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen. Kudus reacted quickly, heading the rebound into the net to secure a point for his side.
Looking ahead, West Ham United will travel to St. Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton in their next Premier League fixture, aiming to build on their promising performance.
