Former Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has expressed high praise for West Ham United’s latest acquisition, Mohammed Kudus, expressing confidence that the Ghanaian midfielder will bring a fresh dynamic to the team.
In an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, Begovic commended Kudus and highlighted the quality he adds to the squad. He stressed the significance of Kudus’ arrival as West Ham prepares for their upcoming campaign in the Europa League.
Begovic remarked, “They have got another dimension in midfield with him (Mohammed Kudus), and they will need it to challenge on the European stage. They have built a really nice squad, done good business, and got value for money. I think it should be a really good season for them.”
West Ham supporters eagerly anticipate seeing how the 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, Kudus, will contribute to the team’s ambitions in European competitions.
Kudus made the move to West Ham from Dutch powerhouse Ajax during the summer transfer window, in a deal reportedly exceeding 40 million euros, securing a five-year contract with the club.
Kudus made his debut for West Ham in a Premier League fixture against Luton Town, entering the match as a late substitute just before the international break. The midfielder is now set to make his full debut in a crucial match against reigning champions Manchester City.
