West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus has set his sights on European qualification and a top-six finish for the upcoming season.
After a stint in the Europa League last season, West Ham concluded their campaign in ninth place with 52 points. The inconsistent performances prompted the club to part ways with manager David Moyes.
Speaking about the team’s ambitions, the Ghanaian international emphasized their goals for the new season. “As a whole team, we could not qualify for Europe last season, so the goal is to qualify for Europe next season and challenge for the top six,” Kudus stated.
The 24-year-old also expressed his personal commitment to the team’s success. “As a player, it is just trying to use my individual skills and ability to help the team qualify for the European stage,” he added.
Kudus and his West Ham teammates are gearing up for the eagerly awaited season. The Hammers will kick off their campaign with a home match against Aston Villa at the London Olympic Stadium on Saturday, August 17.
