Ghana captain Andre Ayew says the Black Stars team have got good and quality players to impress at the World Cup in Qatar.
According to him, though the team doesn’t have enough experience at the World Cup stage, but have what it takes to impress at the World Cup tournament.
“It’s true my brother and I are the only one (in the Ghana team) to play in the world cup but it doesn’t mean anything because we also came to play and it was a first time at some point and we were able to do good things on the field.”
“For me I believe that the squad we have, have the quality to really impress and to show the world what we are capable of”, he told the press.
Ghana will start their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign with a game against European giant Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
Four days later, the Black Stars return to action with a clash against the Asian powerhouse South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.
The Black Stars who are making their fourth FIFA appearance will end their group stage campaign with a clash against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
