Ghana head coach Otto Addo is approaching the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a mindset focused on growth and improvement, regardless of the results on the pitch.
Speaking ahead of Friday’s qualifier against Chad, Addo stressed his commitment to continuous learning and refining both his coaching skills and the performance of his team.
“I am a person who is always learning. Win or lose, I am always eager to improve myself,” Addo said at the pre-match press conference. “I know that when we lose, people will ask what I have learned, and you often learn the most from losses. But even when I win, I look at what could have been done better. That is who I am—I always strive to improve myself and my team.”
The Black Stars concluded their final preparations on Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they will take on Chad on Friday, March 22, at 19:00 GMT.
