Charlton Athletic manager Ben Garner says he expects Jojo Wollacott to join the Black Stars camping on Monday, November 14.
Named in the provisional 55-man squad, the Addicks goalkeeper is also expected to make the west African side’s final list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars are expected to open camping on Monday to begin preparations for the Mundial, the same day that has been chosen by Otto Addo to announce the 26-man squad.
Though yet to be announced in the final squad, Garner says Wollacott will jet off for the national team on November 14.
“There was a provisional squad that he was part of and we’re just waiting for confirmation of their final squad,” said Garner. “My understanding is that he will meet up a week Monday.
“We haven’t had that definitely confirmed yet, but that is my understanding.”
Wollacott has been instrumental for the club in the 2022/23 season since joining them in the summer transfer window.
