Former Ghana international, Baffour Gyan, has advised former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim, to focus on securing a move abroad after leaving the Porcupine Warriors.
According to Gyan, when a player plays for Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko, the next step is to move abroad and not sign for another local club.
“I have told many players about this. When you play for Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko, you don’t sign for a lower club again,” Gyan said on Wontumi Radio.
“If you are leaving, it means you are moving abroad. You are supposed to be determined. You don’t play at Asante Kotoko and move to a lower club. This is my advice I have been giving to many players.”
Danlad was one of the 18 players released by Asante Kotoko last month and Gyan believes he should use this opportunity to take his career to the next level by moving abroad.
