Charles Taylor, a former great of Hearts of Oak and now a football analyst, has expressed deep disappointment with the team’s performance in the current Ghana Premier League season.
His disappointment comes after their heavy 5-1 defeat to Medeama SC over the past weekend.
During an interview, Taylor urged supporters of Hearts of Oak to refrain from placing their trust in the current team.
He emphasized that if fans continue to do so and encounter disappointments, they should take responsibility for their trust. According to him, the current Hearts of Oak team cannot be trusted.
“The supporters should not put their trust in the team again. If you are a supporter and you do that, when something happens to you, blame yourself. You can’t trust this current Hearts team,” a disappointed Charles Taylor said.
Following their defeat against Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak has dropped out of the top four positions in the Ghana Premier League. They currently sit in 6th place on the league table, with only three matches remaining in the ongoing league campaign.
The team’s declining performance has caused concern among fans and football observers, including Charles Taylor.
