Young Apostles FC defender Claude Shooting Bortey has been named NASCO Player of the Month for March following a string of exceptional performances.
The in-form defender edged out strong competition from Setsofia Aqetey of Vision FC and Samuel Okai of Bechem United FC to clinch the award.
Bortey played a decisive role for Young Apostles during the period, scoring three goals and earning a Man of the Match award, underlining his influence at both ends of the pitch.
As recognition for his impressive form, Bortey will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set and a NASCO double-door bottom-freezer refrigerator, sponsored by Electroland Ghana Limited.
