Osman Bukari netted his debut Ghana goal for the Black Stars against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations opener on Wednesday.
The FC Nantes loanee came off the bench to grab his first-ever goal for Ghana in big win over the Barea of Madagascar at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Kudus Mohammed and youngster Felix Afena-Gyan gave the Otto Addo’s men a 2-0 lead before the hour-mark, that is on the 54th and 56th minutes respectively.
Four minutes to the end of the match, Bukari put the icing on the cake with a sublime finish after rounding off goalkeeper Nina Razakanirina to seal victory for the Black Stars at home.
Bukari has made five appearances for the senior national team of Ghana since his promotion from the Ghana U23 team.
