Government of Ghana will not sponsor any fans to support the Black Stars at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations that begins on Sunday, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced.
Ghanaian fans have over the years been sponsored by government to rally behind the national team during AFCON tournaments but the current government that airlifted fans to Egypt 2019 tournament says no supporters will be sent to Cameroon this time around due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
