Wa Power FC beat Steadfast FC 2:0 at home to record their first win of the season. Iddrisu Nafiu scored the first goal of the game in the 10th minute before Issahaku Wahidu doubled the lead in the 24th minute.
Jerry Akaminko of Wa Power FC was named the best player of the match.
Elsewhere – Young Apostles pip Techiman Eleven Wonders 1-0 at home to record their second home win in the league. The first half failed to produce goals despite Young Apostles having a lions share of possession and creating all the decent chances.
Abdul Ganiyu Muftawu scored the only goal of the 52nd minute for Young Apostles.
Meanwhile – Debibi United drew 1-1 against Mighty Royals at home. Bismark Kyeremeh scored the first goal for Debibi United in the 16th minute but they failed to take their chances as Debos Opoku Kyei grabbed the equalizer in the 69th minute to help Mighty Royals share the spoils against Debibi United.
