Raoul Savoy, head coach of the Central African Republic (CAR) national team, has announced a 24-man squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.
The team will face Ghana in matchday four of the qualifiers next month.
The squad features prominent players such as Olympique Marseille star Geoffrey Kondogbia and former Hearts of Oak striker Yassan Ouatching.
The Central African Republic will play Chad on June 5 before traveling to Ghana for their match on June 10. Meanwhile, Ghana will face Mali in Bamako on June 6 before taking on CAR.
Ghana, a powerhouse in West African football, aims to secure maximum points from both matches following a shaky start to the qualifiers last year. The Black Stars managed a 1-0 win over Madagascar but then suffered a narrow defeat to Comoros, leaving them currently fourth in the standings for the 2026 qualifiers.
