Bayern Munich defeated FC Barcelona by 3-0 on Wednesday during Day Six of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
The Spanish side are thus eliminated from Europe’s most prestigious competition and will now play in the Europa League.
The German giants won the game with goals from Thomas Muller in the 34th minute, Leroy Sane in the 43rd and Jamal Musiala in the 62nd.
Bayern and Benfica advance to the Round of 16 as the top two teams from the Group.
