Comoros national team head coach Amir Abdou is looking forward to sin Ghana when the two side’s meet in Garoua in Group C of the ongoing AFCON in Cameroon.
Amir maintains that they have learnt their mistake and they will play the game with Ghana like a final as they seek to cause a major aspect.
“We have this third game which will be important. We are coming off of two defeats. We had a defeat against Gabon, during the first day, where we deserved better, after we came across a big team from Morocco. The game must be a final for us.” Amir stated ahead of today’s game.
“Ghana had a loss and a draw. They will come determined, they will put pressure on themselves. It is up to us to be bold in the approach to this match. We have to manage our weak times better. The goal is to have no regrets. We have to look for victory and perform well. It’s not bad to play big teams like Ghana, it allows you to move forward, to perform better. We know that Ghana is a great team, we will try to upset them.”
We will play without pressure but with determination. We have to be good in the last 30 meters of the opponent and we have to manage our weak times better. We have to be compact and very focused. We have learned the lessons of the last two matches, the goals we concede, we can avoid them.” He added.
Comoros lost their opening two games in the Group to Gabon and Morocco whereas Ghana picked a point.
