Black Stars Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has insisted he is not worried by the fact that he was snubbed in re-appointed coach Kwesi Appiah’s first official Black Stars squad.
Wakaso who last played for Spanish side Granada was shockingly snubbed by Kwesi Appiah for Ghana’s AFCON Qualifier match against Ethiopia and friendlies with Mexico and the US.
Speaking to GHOne TV, Wakaso said “Before I came to the national team, there were others there who made way for some of us.”
“For me, I have the belief that whatever comes your way is what God is willing to give you.
“I’ve come a long way, been in the squad for so many years now and the explanation they [Black Stars technical team] gave me was okay for me,” he added.
