French Ligue 1 side Stade de Rennes are keen to sign Ghana’s defender Alexander Djiku from Racing Club Strasbourg.
The Ghanaian international was on the radars of Spanish La Liga team Villarreal CF and Sevilla FC for the greater part of the summer.
The Europa League side have confirmed their interest in the player and are hoping to complete the signing before the start of the 2022-23 season.
Djiku recently passed his TSG Hoffenheim medicals but the deal fell through due to huge agency fee demanded by his agent.
