The Ghana Football Association has called off the Ghana Super Cup game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko which was scheduled to come off on September 5,2022.
The Preliminary round of the CAF Champions League game between Asante Kotoko and Rail du Kadiogo will come off on 9th September,2022 and the club will be focusing on that instead.
Also, Hearts of Oak have about five players in the Black Galaxies squad and are in a need for postponement.
The decision was made to help Kotoko prepare adequately for the CAF Champions League and also help the Black Galaxies rest well as they prepare to face Nigeria in the second leg of the CHAN qualifiers.
The Black Galaxies beat Nigeria 2-0 in the first leg at Cape Coast and will face the side again in the second leg on September 3,2022.
