Hearts of Oak, one of the giants of Ghanaian football, are reportedly interested in Kotoku Royals’ striker Francis Andy Kumi, who has emerged as their top transfer target.
The 23-year-old Kumi has been in excellent form since joining the Premier League newcomers from Bechem United.
Despite a disappointing stint with Asante Kotoko in Kumasi, Kumi has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 12 matches for his new team.
His impressive performances have caught the attention of Hearts of Oak, who are said to be keen on signing him for the upcoming season. Reports in the media suggest that the Phobians are looking to lure him away from his struggling current club.
Kumi joined Kotoku Royals in the transfer window and has since found his rhythm and form, earning him a nomination for the Player of the Month for March after scoring four goals.
He is now seen as a key target for the capital giants.
