Accra Great Olympics FC has been granted permission by the Competitions Department of the Ghana Football Association to relocate their home games to their alternative venue in Sogakope for the remainder of the season.
The decision was made on April 17, 2023, following a thorough review of the club’s request.
The Club Licensing Committee of the GFA had previously approved the Accra Sports Stadium and the WAFA park as the club’s primary and secondary venues, respectively, at the beginning of the season.
However, due to the high cost of playing games in Accra, the club submitted a request to the GFA last week, asking to play their future matches at their alternative location instead.
