Former German star Lothar Matthäus says Accra Lions FC players are so professional after acquiring ownership of the club.
The Germany Legend has heaped praises on the players of the Ghana Premier League side as he was wowed by their professionalism.
According to him, the players are not only professional but are very talented based on what he saw at their training grounds in Accra on his visit to see the team’s facilities.
“The Accra Lions players are so professional. They’re all very talented from what I saw in training.”
“The facilities were good and I want to ensure we improve it more. Beating Aduana Stars after a rough patch in form is the kind of mentality I like. That’s why I’m here.”
The GGerman Legend Lothar Matthäus alongside former Ghana Black Stars winger Frank Acheampong and Oliver König have all acquired shares in the Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions Football Club.
