French-born Ghanaian attacker Grejohn Kyei, continued his impressive form at Clermont Foot in the French Ligue 1 as they beat Lorient 2-0 on Saturday, 27th May, 2023.
Kyei, who has scored nine goals in 36 league games with three assists, was in top form despite failing to score in his side’s home win. He lasted the entire duration of the game alongside Black Stars right-back Seidu Alidu.
A goal each from Khaoui, Saif-Eddine and Caufriez, Maximiliano in the 44th and 74th minute respectively ensured Clermont Foot picked all three points at Stade Gabriel Montpied.
The 27-year old striker, could be handed his maiden Black Stars call-up by manager Chris Hughton for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar next month.
