Maxwell Gyamfi, a German-Ghanaian defender, has completed a move to VfL Osnabrück, a team in the Bundesliga 2.

Born in Dortmund, Gyamfi received his training at FC Schalke 04’s youth program, a Bundesliga club.

After his time at Schalke, Gyamfi had a stint with Hombrucher SV before joining VfL Bochum U19s in 2019.

During his time there, he not only trained with the first team but also gained valuable experience in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the 2020/21 season, he made a transfer to Hamburger SV. Gyamfi served as the team captain for Hamburger SV’s U-23s and featured in 18 games in the Regionalliga Nord, as well as nine other matches in the final rounds.
