Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, the assistant coach of Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, holds an optimistic view regarding Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup ahead of their Group I opponents.
The draw has placed Ghana in a challenging group alongside Mali, Madagascar, Central Africa Republic, Comoros, and Chad for the qualifiers of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The Black Stars have the ambition to secure their fifth appearance in the World Cup, having previously qualified for four out of their last five tournaments.
During an interview on Happy FM, Coach Dramani expressed his belief that the Black Stars possess the necessary quality to advance from their group, but stressed the importance of unity within the team to achieve this goal.
He emphasized the significance of maintaining the core of Ghana’s team if they aspire to make their fifth World Cup appearance.
Didi Dramani acknowledged that patience is a key virtue required for Ghana’s national teams to surpass expectations in competitions.
The qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup are scheduled to take place from November 2023 to November 2025.
