Real Tamale United midfielder, Abdul Manaf Umar, has made a move to Nsoatreman FC ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 league season, according to a report by Mohammed Shaban.

The former Hearts of Oak midfielder completed a permanent transfer to Nsoatreman FC after successfully undergoing a medical assessment.

Manaf’s impressive performance for RTU in the previous Ghana Premier League season prompted his transfer to Nsoatreman FC.

He becomes the latest player to depart from RTU during the ongoing transfer window, following Mathew Abayase, Stephen Badu Dankwa, Yaw Osei, Kwame Boakye, Sadat Mohammed, and Frimpong Augustine.

Having initially joined RTU from Hearts of Oak on a one-year contract with the option for another year in August 2022, Manaf has now joined his new teammates at Nsoatreman FC for the pre-season preparations.

Manaf’s football journey began with Hearts of Oak’s junior team, Auroras FC, which competes in the Ghana Division Two League.

In January 2019, he was promoted to the senior team by coach Kim Grant, signing his first professional contract with Hearts of Oak ahead of the 2019 GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition. He extended his contract with the club in July 2019.

Following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2021-22 football season, Abdul Manaf was released by Hearts of Oak, having not made a single appearance in the Ghana Premier League.

Before departing from the Phobians, Abdul Manaf had played 31 matches and scored three goals across the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons in the Ghanaian top-flight.
