Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, anticipates a competitive match against Nations FC.
On Sunday, October 22, the Porcupine Warriors will be guests at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in the matchday six fixtures of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League. Although Kotoko had a challenging start to the season, they have managed to secure consecutive victories.
Looking forward to their game against the Premier League newcomers at Abrankese, Dr. Narteh Ogum expressed his belief that it will be an exciting match. He emphasized that they would devise strategies to face Kasim Mingle’s side.
“Yeah, it is more or less like a local derby and it is going to be a perfect match,” he mentioned in an interview with StarTimes. “They are also a ball-playing side, and we will strategize to play against them,” added Dr. Ogum.
Asante Kotoko currently holds the fourth position on the league table with 8 points after participating in five games.
