Bofoakwa Tano’s head coach, Frimpong Manso, has revealed that his team’s most challenging opponent this season has been Bibiani Gold Stars.
In the matchday five fixture, Bofoakwa faced Gold Stars at the Coronation Park in Sunyani on Saturday, resulting in a goalless draw as the Premier League newcomers continued their perfect start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
In a post-match statement, the former Asante Kotoko coach praised Gold Stars and admitted that they have been the most formidable competition his team has encountered this season.
“So far, I will say this is the most challenging home game we have played,” Manso conveyed to StarTimes. “Bibiani is a strong side with an experienced midfield, and they constantly posed a threat.”
Manso also acknowledged his team’s performance, stating, “But I think we played well, we played well.”
Bofoakwa Tano remains unbeaten since their return to the top flight. Frimpong Manso and his team will face Karela United in the matchday six fixture at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday, October 22.
