Southampton winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has earned a recall to the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.
The 21-year-old, who faced injury challenges towards the end of the last season, has successfully recovered and is now featuring regularly for Southampton in the Championship.
Sulemana has participated in 10 Championship games for Southampton, starting all of them and contributing three assists.
Notably absent from the squad in the October international break friendlies against the United States of America and Mexico, Kamaldeen Sulemana is back in contention for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Head coach Chris Hughton, amidst uncertainty over his future, unveiled the squad on Thursday afternoon.
The four-time African champions are set to host Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, November 17, 2023, marking the first Group I game of the Mexico, Canada, and ISA tournament slated for 2026.
Four days later, Ghana will play as guests against Comoros in the second group match, aiming for positive results after the disappointing defeats last month.
