1. Bright Adjei brings back Aduana Stars to winning ways

Mr BBC, popularly known in the world of football was back in Aduana Stars’ starting eleven after 6 games with a bang. A 65th-minute free-kick took a deflection off Kelvin Osei Bright securing the first victory for the Ogya Boys after back-to-back defeats to Karela United and Accra Lions. The win helped Aduana maintain the first position with 24 points with a better goal difference.

2. Bechem United records the biggest away win so far

A brace each from Emmanuel Avonyor and Augustine Okrah recorded a record 4-0 away win for Bechem United over Karela. Bechem United is unbeaten in their last 10 games including the MTN FA Cup 8-0 thrashing of Debibi United. 12 goals scored in two games is more than fantastic for Bismark Kobi Kyei’s team.

3. Asante Kotoko stops Berekum Chelsea’s unbeaten run

A 41st-minute goal from Steven Mukwala was enough to record Asante Kotoko a three consecutive victories in the Betpawa Premier League. Berekum Chelsea was on top form before visiting Kotoko as they had recorded 4 wins one draw in five. Asante Kotoko fought hard and stopped their hot run.

4. Bofoakwa Tano pays the price for the barbaric act against Nsoatreman

Bofoakwa was beaten by a horrible team when they were playing away from home. Yeah, Samartex is horrible in away games. Samartex recorded their first win in 9 games spanning from last season. Bofoakwa had gone 6 home games at the Sunyani Coronation Park undefeated but lost the first home game at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex 2-0. Imagine Bofoakwa playing the rest of their home game away from the Sunyani Coronation Park. They will just struggle and hence must learn not to repeat the disgraceful act against Nsoatreman.

5. Nations FC has moved into  the top 4

Newly promoted side, Nations FC, has moved into the top four for the first time this season. Four consecutive victories in the Ghana Premier League is not a mere achievement. With just  4 points separating Nations FC from the top spot, Kasim Ocansey Mingle and his boys are doing extremely well and talk of remaining in the league is over now as their performance for now is beyond that.
