CAF Champions League side Medeama SC secured a victory over lower-tier team Basake Holy Stars during the Round of 64 in the 2023-24 MTN FA Cup competition.
Adding a touch of international flair to the match, former Zimbabwean forward Kudakwashe Mahachi notched his inaugural competitive goal for Medeama SC on a Wednesday afternoon that would be etched in his memory.
The showdown unfolded at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa, where the Yellow and Mauves faced off against Basake Holy Stars in an exhilarating encounter.
