Former Ghana youth forward, Samuel Obeng Gyabaa, got his name onto the scoresheet for SD Huesca, even though his stellar performance couldn’t thwart defeat against Levante in the Spanish La Liga 2.

The former Black Meteors striker showcased his football prowess, playing the entire match with unwavering determination during the week 20 fixture.

Despite Obeng Gyabaa’s outstanding contributions, SD Huesca couldn’t escape a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Levante at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. The match unfolded with Levante taking an early lead, courtesy of Ángel Algobia, merely one minute into the clash. Carlos Álvarez added another for the home side just before halftime, setting the stage for a challenging comeback.

The Ghanaian international proved his mettle by notching a consolation goal for Huesca, injecting a moment of hope two minutes into the second half. His individual brilliance and goal-scoring prowess were evident, offering a glimpse of the resilience that defines his approach to the game.

The 26-year-old Ghanaian attacker, with this recent goal, adds another chapter to his goal-scoring tally for the season. His presence on the scoresheet reflects not only his ability to find the back of the net but also his crucial role as a catalyst for positive change within the team.

His contribution, though in a losing cause, did not go unnoticed, earning him praise for his impact on the game.

In the aftermath of the fixture, the focus remains on Obeng Gyabaa’s ability to bounce back and continue making meaningful contributions in future matches.

The journey for SD Huesca in La Liga 2 is a long and challenging one, and the Ghanaian forward’s role becomes increasingly pivotal in their pursuit of success.
