Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, the Ghanaian football sensation, couldn’t contain his joy after achieving a remarkable milestone in his career. He scored his very first hat-trick, leading Leicester City to a resounding victory over Southampton in the English Championship. The 20-year-old winger was on fire, contributing not only with his goals but also with an assist, as Leicester triumphed 5-0 at the electrifying atmosphere of the King Power Stadium.

Reflecting on his stellar performance, Issahaku expressed his elation, saying, “It’s so amazing and I feel so happy. This is what we are here to do. We are just going more to get to where we want to.” His words echoed the determination and drive within the team to achieve their goals. He continued, “We are ready. We have come a long way to lose what is in our hands. We are going harder than we used to. This is how we go and we will keep going till we get to where we want.”

Issahaku’s journey to glory began in the 25th minute when he calmly slotted home a pass from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to open the scoring. That solitary goal separated the teams at halftime, setting the stage for Leicester’s dominance in the second half.

As the game resumed, Leicester unleashed an onslaught on Southampton’s defense. Wilfred Ndidi doubled the lead with a powerful strike in the 62nd minute, paving the way for Issahaku to further showcase his brilliance. In the 75th minute, he netted his second goal of the day, displaying his clinical finishing and exceptional skill.

But Issahaku wasn’t done yet. In the 79th minute, he played a pivotal role in setting up veteran Leicester hero Jamie Vardy, who capitalized on Issahaku’s through pass to find the back of the net. The stadium erupted in cheers as Leicester extended their lead.

Not content with just two goals, Issahaku sealed his unforgettable night in the 81st minute with a close-range finish, completing his sensational hat-trick and securing a comprehensive 5-0 victory for Leicester City.

For his outstanding performance, Issahaku was rightfully named Man of the Match, a well-deserved accolade for his exceptional contribution to the team’s success. As he proudly took home the match ball, Issahaku’s star continued to rise in the football world.

This incredible loan spell with Leicester City has seen Issahaku emerge as a standout player in the Championship, tallying an impressive six goals and providing 12 assists so far this season. With each game, he cements his status as a rising star in football, capturing the hearts of fans around the world with his talent and determination.
