Ghanaian rising star Enoch Owusu showcased his talent as Inter Milan Primavera secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Atalanta Primavera in the Primavera 1 matchday 34, held on Saturday afternoon.
Owusu, a promising prospect, started the game and played for 59 minutes, making a significant contribution to Inter Milan’s dominance on the field.
The opening goal for Inter Milan U-19’s came in the 18th minute, courtesy of Riccardo Miconi. This early lead gave the Nerazzurri the momentum, maintaining their advantage until halftime with a 1-0 scoreline.
In the second half, Inter Milan U-19’s continued their offensive pressure and were rewarded with a second goal in the 55th minute. Owusu, who had been a constant threat to the Atalanta defense, displayed his finishing prowess by finding the back of the net, extending the lead to 2-0.
Despite tactical adjustments from both sides, Inter Milan’s solid defense held firm, preventing Atalanta’s youngsters from creating clear scoring opportunities.
With this crucial win, Inter Milan Primavera now leads the Primavera 1 table with 67 points after 34 games. Additionally, they have secured a spot in the Primavera 1 playoffs semifinals, further cementing their position as a top team in youth football.
