Mohammed Kudus, the talented Ghanaian midfielder, has lavished praise on his Black Stars teammate Kamaldeen Sulemana following Sulemana’s recent success with Southampton.

Reacting to a picture of Sulemana at a parade celebrating Southampton’s promotion to the Premier League, Kudus, a product of the prestigious Right To Dream Academy in Ghana, expressed his admiration.

In his message, Kudus honored Sulemana’s accomplishment, highlighting their shared roots from the Right To Dream Academy. Kudus tweeted on his official X page, “When a king’s palace burns down, the rebuilt palace is more beautiful,” underscoring the resilience and triumph of his compatriot.

Southampton has joined Leicester City and Ipswich Town as the three teams promoted to the Premier League. The Saints secured their spot by defeating Leeds United 1-0 in the Championship Playoffs final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. England international Adam Armstrong scored the decisive goal just 24 minutes into the game, leading Southampton to a narrow yet vital victory.

Though Sulemana was an unused substitute in this crucial match, his contributions throughout the season were significant.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian winger, who joined Southampton from Stade Rennes in January 2023, faced injury setbacks that limited him to 26 appearances in the Championship, where he provided three assists. Sulemana is contracted with the Saints until 2027, and his journey with the club is a testament to his perseverance and skill.
