Viktoria Plzeň striker Prince Kwabena Adu remains committed to representing Ghana at the senior international level, despite an initial setback with the Black Stars in 2020.
The 21-year-old forward, currently preparing for a crucial Europa League clash against Lazio, is confident that his strong performances in European competitions will soon earn him another chance with the national team.
Reflecting on his first experience with the Black Stars, Adu recalled that he was initially called up as a late replacement. However, he had to leave the camp after the original player decided to rejoin the squad.
Despite this disappointment, Adu took pride in the opportunity, stating, “In that moment I was still proud of this achievement because I was still selected out of so many players to represent the country.”
Determined to earn another chance, Adu remains focused on proving himself through hard work and dedication. “I am working hard for that,” he affirmed.
With his continued progress in European football, Adu hopes to wear the national colors again and make a lasting impact for Ghana.
