Ghanaian forward Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has earned a spot in Sofascore’s Bundesliga Team of the Week following his outstanding performance in Hamburger SV’s emphatic victory over Magdeburg.
The 23-year-old was instrumental in HSV’s dominant display, netting twice to inspire the Bundesliga 2 leaders to a crucial win. Königsdörffer opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a clinical finish before a Marcus Mathisen own goal doubled the visitors’ advantage just six minutes later.
After the break, the Ghanaian forward struck again in the 53rd minute, securing his 11th goal of the season and further strengthening his team’s promotion push.
Despite his impressive form—registering 11 goals and one assist in 25 league appearances—Königsdörffer was omitted from Ghana’s squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
