Former Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has expressed confidence in his former club’s chances of winning the UEFA Champions League as they gear up for a high-stakes semi-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Italian giants will face the French side on Saturday night at the Allianz Arena, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT.
Inter, who lost the Champions League final to Manchester City two years ago, are hoping to redeem themselves this season. Muntari, a member of Inter’s historic 2010 treble-winning squad, believes the Nerazzurri now have the experience and maturity needed to go all the way.
“I think Inter Milan are building up their team,” Muntari told 3Sports. “They are very strong. Let’s see. They are more experienced now, mature. Inter Milan has a really strong and well-experienced team.”
PSG, meanwhile, are still chasing their first-ever European crown, having last reached the final in 2021.
Saturday’s encounter promises to be a thrilling battle between two clubs with unfinished business on the continental stage.
