Experienced Ghanaian winger Patrick Razak is close to making a return to topflight football, with Medeama SC, Berekum Chelsea, and FC Samartex all expressing strong interest in signing him ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Razak had been training with his former club Hearts of Oak, hoping for a third stint, but the deal failed to materialize. Despite that setback, three Premier League clubs have stepped forward with offers, and negotiations are already underway.
The 29-year-old has been out of competitive action for nearly two years, with his last stint coming at lower-tier side Bazuka FC. However, his track record in the local league remains impressive.
He first joined Hearts of Oak in 2016, where he quickly became a fan favorite due to his speed and flair. His performances earned him a move to Guinean side Horoya AC, before returning for a second spell in 2020.
Razak was also a key figure in the Black Galaxies squad that won the WAFU Zone B Championship in 2016 in Cape Coast.
As the new season approaches, his potential return to the Premier League is one of the most anticipated comeback stories in Ghanaian football.
