Captain of Ghana’s Black Galaxies, Razak Simpson, has stressed that the team is approaching their international friendly against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana with the utmost seriousness.
Ghana’s CHAN team will face the Bafana Bafana on Tuesday, December 16, in a friendly encounter that forms part of South Africa’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Morocco.
Speaking ahead of the match, Simpson expressed confidence in the squad’s readiness, assuring Ghanaians that the players are fully focused and eager for the challenge.
“We are approaching the game against Bafana Bafana with full seriousness and confidence in our abilities. My teammates have shown great eagerness and readiness for the challenge,” Simpson said, as quoted by ghanafa.org.
The encounter will take place at the Dobsonville Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
The Black Galaxies held their first training session on Sunday and are expected to wrap up preparations with a final workout on Monday, as they fine-tune tactics ahead of the friendly showdown.
