Abdulai Iddrisu has enjoyed a flying start to 2026 after delivering a string of outstanding performances in the Ethiopian Premier League.

The Ghanaian goalkeeper began the year on a high by winning the Goalkeeper of the Month award for January, following a series of impressive displays between the posts.

His strong form continued into February, where his consistency earned him a joint top position in the rankings for the Top 10 Most Valuable Goalkeepers in the league.

Now on the books of Negela Arsi FC, Iddrisu has been a key figure in the team’s campaign, recording seven clean sheets in his last ten league matches. His reliability and command in goal have played a major role in the club’s defensive stability.

The former Bechem United, Azam FC and Ethiopia Electricity FC shot-stopper is clearly enjoying a rich vein of form, cementing his status as one of the standout goalkeepers in the Ethiopian top flight this season.
