Ghana attacker Jerry Afriyie featured for RAAL La Louvière in their 2-0 home loss to KV Mechelen in the Belgian Pro League.
The forward lasted 63 minutes and remained lively in attack, constantly pressing defenders and looking to create openings in the final third. Although his side could not find the back of the net, Afriyie showed flashes of quality with his movement and link-up play.
Beyond his attacking duties, he also impressed defensively. The Ghanaian recorded a perfect 100% tackle success rate, winning both of his attempted tackles (2/2). His work rate off the ball underlined his commitment to the team’s overall performance.
This season, Afriyie has continued to contribute in front of goal with important goals and assists, playing a key role in RAAL La Louvière’s attacking setup. His ability to combine direct runs with defensive discipline makes him an important asset for the club.
Despite the setback, the 63-minute display once again highlighted his growing influence and steady development in Belgian top-flight football.
