Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach Didi Dramani has admitted his side must be strong, disciplined, and clinical if they are to overcome FC Samartex 1996 in their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture.
The Phobians are preparing for a tricky away encounter as they look to secure a vital result in the closing stages of the 2025/26 season.
Dramani praised Samartex as a well-structured and aggressive opponent, warning that Hearts must remain fully focused throughout the match to avoid costly mistakes.
He stressed the importance of winning second balls, closing down spaces quickly, and making better decisions in key moments if Hearts are to come out on top.
“They are very compact, they are very aggressive, and they are a good side, so we need to be strong in our second actions. We need to be decisive, and we need to be very quick in closing the gaps,” he told Hearts TV.
The Hearts coach also highlighted the need for his team to convert chances when they come, noting that efficiency in front of goal could decide the outcome of the match.
“We acknowledge their strength, but we are going to try our best to come back with a very important result,” he added.
FC Samartex 1996 will host Hearts of Oak at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday, May 17, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm as both sides continue their push for a strong finish to the season.
