Berekum Chelsea have completed the signing of Ghanaian centre-back Shadirac Chyreme Say from Hungarian side Ferencvárosi, with the defender joining the Ghana Premier League club on a two-year contract.
The 22-year-old defender, who stands at 1.91 metres, has experience in European football after developing his career in Hungary with Ferencvárosi. He previously secured a professional contract with the Hungarian club after emerging through the Ghanaian football development system.
Say has also been part of Ferencvárosi’s setup that won the Hungarian league title, giving him valuable experience that could strengthen Berekum Chelsea’s defensive options.
His arrival is expected to add depth and competition to the club’s backline as Berekum Chelsea prepare for the new Ghana Premier League campaign.
The two-year agreement marks a return to Ghanaian football for the centre-back, who will now look to use his experience from Europe to make an impact with the Berekum-based club.
