Ghanaian winger Mohammed Dauda has completed a move to Spanish Primera Federación side CD Lugo on a one-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old attacker, who was born in Larabanga, Ghana, returns to Spanish football after previously representing several clubs in the country, including FC Cartagena, CD Tenerife, CD Eldense and UD Ibiza.
Dauda is a versatile forward capable of operating on either flank or through the centre. Known for his pace, direct running and ability to take on defenders, he will provide Lugo with additional attacking options for the new campaign.
The Ghanaian began his professional career with Asante Kotoko before moving to Europe, where he developed his career across several leagues.
His experience includes a spell with Belgian giants Anderlecht, as well as periods in Spain and other European leagues.
Dauda will now look to make an immediate impact at CD Lugo as the club prepares for the 2026/27 Primera Federación campaign, with the Spanish side hoping his experience and attacking qualities can help them achieve their season ambitions.
