Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway has completed a move to Indian side Kannur Warriors FC.
The Ghanaian midfielder joins the Indian club as he begins a new chapter in his career after his spell in the Ghana Premier League with the Phobians.
Ansah Botchway was a key figure during his time at Hearts of Oak, where he was admired for his composure, passing ability and work rate in midfield. His performances helped him establish himself as one of the club’s reliable midfield options.
The former Ghana youth international gained valuable experience competing at the top level of Ghana football, featuring in domestic league matches, cup competitions and continental assignments with Hearts of Oak.
His experience also extends to continental football, having featured in both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
Beyond Ghana, Botchway has continued to build his reputation through spells in Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.
During his time in Zimbabwe, he won the Chibuku Super Cup with Dynamos FC, adding another major domestic honour to his collection.
Most recently, Botchway was part of the Scotland FC side that won the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League last season, further underlining his winning pedigree and ability to contribute to successful teams.
