Highly-rated Ghanaian centre-back Christopher Abanga has completed a move to Norwegian Eliteserien club Sandefjord Fotball from African Vikings Academy.
The 18-year-old defender has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the Norwegian club until 2029, marking the beginning of his first European adventure.
Abanga arrives in Norway with a growing reputation as one of Ghana’s promising young defensive talents. His move from African Vikings Academy is seen as a major step in his development as he prepares to compete in European football.
The talented centre-back will also reunite with former academy teammate Foster Apetorgbor, who is already continuing his career in Norway, as both Ghanaian youngsters look to make their mark abroad.
