Watford attacker Nordin Amrabat has been ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.
The Morocco international suffered a groin injury during the first half of the Hornets’ defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.
Amrabat missed the midweek defeat at Stoke and he is expected to be sidelined for up to four weeks ruling him out of the tournament.
His place in the Morocco squad has been taken by Omar El Kaddouri.
It means Adlene Guedioura will be the only Watford player competing in the competition this year.
